Healthy Body, Healthy Mind - Healthy Mind, Healthy Body
We believe fitness is not only about the physical aspect but also our mental wellbeing.
We caught up with our Wellington branch manager - Pam. Pam talked us through her daily routine and sent us a couple of workouts that you can easily do from the comfort of your house.
Here's what Pam had to say…
My motto has always been.... "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Healthy Mind, Healthy Body"
ROUTINE during lockdown is imperative, it can be so easy to sit around and over think things, live in one's head, and potentially become slowly but surely unhealthy. Stay active, set daily goals and maybe do a list each evening to work through the following day.
My partner and I have started doing just that, our routine generally starts with morning exercise, so we have been running (as far as we can) around our block one morning, walking the next, followed by stretching and
another evening smaller targeted workouts in the garage.
This takes about 30 minutes:
25 Squats
30 press ups
30 lunges (15 each leg)
45 second wall sit
50 star jumps
30 crunches
45 second plank
Alphabet Challenge
The idea of this is to use your first and last name, no shortened versions such as Paddy, no its Patrick....
