Although you may have checked off all of the above this will not guarantee that your CV will be seen and proceed any further than the application process. For smaller companies they may receive fewer applications and there is a high chance someone is going to sit down and read your CV but for larger organisations where they receive a high quantity of candidates the vetting process is often HR or assistants responsibility. If this is the case it is vital that your CV speaks out to whoever comes across it. A great way to do this is make sure even someone who is not an expert in your field would understand you were a perfect fit for the job. Once you have checked off the checklist and made sure your CV is tailored to suit the job role you are applying for you are ready to begin your application process.
